In honor of First Lady of the United States Michelle Obama’s 50th birthday today, we decided to recap a few of our favorite FLOTUS looks gathered over the years. There’s no denying it- she’s one stylish First Lady! When she gets dressed up for formal functions, she is head-to-toe fabulous–including her jewelry! Here’s a few notable looks:
Mrs. Obama wore this stunning Marchesa gown in the 2013 color of the year, emerald, to the last Kennedy Center Honors. Everything from the hue to the cut and the fabric of this gown is flawless, and we love how she paired it with a classic choker necklace and a confident smile.
To a White House black-tie event in 2009, she sparkled her way across the red carpet in a charcoal gray strapless gown and layered many strands of pearls to complete the look. This movie star-worthy look is beyond glamorous.
Mrs. Obama seems to really be able to pull off bold jewel tones! She stepped out in front of the White House prior to a State dinner in 2011 wearing this one-shouldered purple dress with a blue jeweled belt, accented further with a hammered gold cuff and dangle earrings.
Have a fabulous 50th, Michelle! We can’t wait to see what she wore on her birthday!
