I started blogging in college. I needed a creative outlet – I had always wanted a blog so created an account and started writing. From there, it grew out of a hobby into something I wanted to pursue as a business.
Describe your style in 3 words.
Classic with a trendy twist (that’s more than three words, oops!)

Olivia Palermo and Blake Lively
What is your favorite thing about living in Connecticut?
My family. If it weren’t for them I’d be plopped on a beach somewhere year round!
What is your favorite local attraction?
I love our festivals in the fall! Lots of different towns have their own with apple fritters, craft booths, and more.
Do you notice any regional trends that may not be as prominent in other states or areas?
I think we have a heavy northern prep presence up here, though I don’t dress that way!
How do you think Connecticut style compares to the rest of New England?
I think it’s a bit more put together and dressed up.
What is one trend you predict will be big for winter?
Fur and Leather. Yes.
What is at the top of your holiday wishlist?
Pieces for my home! I’m about to redo my apartment to have it filled with lots of décor.
What is your favorite piece of jewelry you own and why?
My MK watch – I can’t go one day without wearing it. Oh, and my Sorrelli stud earrings!
What is your favorite piece from EvesAddiction.com right now?
I love the gold infinity ring!
