The Eve’s Addiction Shine Bright Scholarship is open to high school seniors and any student enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate degree in Fall 2013 or Spring 2014 at any accredited college or university in America. One winner will be awarded a $1,000 scholarship.

How to apply:

Students wishing to apply for the Shine Bright scholarship should submit an essay of 500 words or more to scholarship@evesaddiction.com on one of the following topics:

  • How can the Web give a company a competitive advantage?
  • How will you use your personal “shine” to make a difference?

The submission deadline is December 15, 2013 and the scholarship award date is January 15, 2014.

Eve’s Addiction aims to reward a hardworking student not for their knowledge of sterling silver and cubic zirconia jewelry, but for their passion to succeed and their drive to shine bright.

There is no place to upload the essay.

  2. Hi Kelsey,
You do not upload the essay to the site, you submit it as an email attachment to scholarship@evesaddiction.com.

So, what does the question “How will you use your “personal shine” to make a difference?” mean?

  4. Ki’Ante,
It asks how you will use your own special skills and abilities to make a difference in the world.

  5. Does the essay have to be exactly 500 or can it go over a little bit?

  6. Joy,
The essay should be as concise as possible while still conveying your message. That being said, if you feel you need to exceed 500 words, that is fine.
