If you watched the 63rd Emmy Awards show Sunday night, you may have noticed a few fashion color trends that were spotted on the red carpet. Here are some of the ones we noticed and the accessories these hot celebrities opted for!
The 2011 Emmy Awards’ red carpet certainly was certainly seeing red! Sophie Vergara impressed with and interesting combination of colorful chandelier earrings and a large gold cuff bracelet, with Sarah Hyland mimicking a similar look with cuff bracelet and long earrings. Lea Michele’s paired her designer dress with a simple cocktail ring. Kerry Washington also kept it simple with a pair of stud earrings. Top picks of the night were Vampire Diaries Nina Dobrev, accessorizing beautifully with a stunning diamond choker necklace and simple diamond stud earrings, and Emmy winning Kate Winslet exhumed beauty with sparkling designer earrings and bracelet.
Emily Blunt, Charlie’s Angels’ Minka Kelly, Amy Poehler, Claire Canes, Katie Holmes, and Glee star Diana Agron (not pictured) dazzled the red carpet in all shades of blue. Minka and Claire’s jewelry style was probably the best hear with a simple silver ring and earrings to compliment their hair do. Katie’s look was in need of a little more bling, like a few ornate stackable bangle bracelets or stunning diamond designer style bracelet stacked on her left wrist.
Lastly, their were some shimmering shades of white, gray, and silver that definitely deserves mention. Julia Stiles romanticized the red carpet in her lace gown and sparkling white diamond fashion ring and stunning tennis bracelet with earrings (by far one of the better complimenting looks of the evening). Jane Krakowski and Heidi Klume didn’t fully impress with their styles, selecting ornate rings and earrings that didn’t do very much to heighten their look. But Christina Hendricks and Julianna Margulies captured their fashion sense beautifully by keeping simple rings and earrings, letting their dresses do all the talking.
It was a great night for fashion and style, making us excited about the rest of the 2011 awards season. What style did you like best?
