Claddagh rings!

A Claddagh ring is the traditional wedding ring for the Irish since the 17th century. Today, the ring is worn all over the world to symbolize love, loyalty and friendship. It is also used to signify a person’s Irish heritage.

A Claddagh ring features two hands holding a heart with a crown on top of them and makes for a great promise ring. There are different ways to wear a Claddagh ring.

When the silver ring is worn on the right hand with the heart facing outward, it means that the wearer of the ring is not in a serious relationship and might actually be single and looking for a relationship. When the ring is worn on the right hand and it the heart is facing inward, it indicates that someone has captured the wearer’s heart or that he or she may be in a relationship.

When a Claddagh ring is worn on the left hand ring finger with the heart facing outward, it generally means that the person is engaged. When on the left hand ring finger and the heart is facing inward, it means that the person is married.
